Description

Whether you choose the fully-outfitted or guided-only option, your hunt will also include skinning or rough caping, and quartering once your javelina is down. With this hunt you can expect a lot of glassing and hunting in high-desert country while driving in a vehicle. You will need to draw a public tag for this hunt. This is a 1:1 guided 3 day hunt.

      Refund Policy:

      Deposits are not refundable. When you make a deposit or payment that money is used to reserve your adventure dates and we cannot sell them to anyone else. If for some reason you have to cancel, you will lose your deposit and any payments you have made. If you are concerned that you might get sick or otherwise have to cancel, we suggest buying trip insurance. There are insurance companies that specialize in providing insurance policies for outfitter bookings and hunts. One such company we recommend is globalrescue.com. It is also our policy, depending on the adventure you booked and at our discretion, that if you have to cancel and we are able to book a replacement for you at the regular price we will work with you to apply your deposits to another adventure. Please note that we cannot refund or roll state or government license fees, application fees, draw results, or tags.

      Hunter will be responsible to provide their own meals for this hunt. There are restaurants in the area. Meals may be provided for the hunt if option is selected.

      Hunter should expect light to moderate hiking for this hunt. These animals live in drainages and some steep country. More physically fit will provide better shot opportunity. This will be a horseback hunt, so you will get to save your legs to get into the country. Once the animal is located, a plan will be made for your stalk.


      Transportation (To/From Basecamp)

      Final destination city is either Albuquerque, NM or Las Cruses, NM. Best airport to fly into is Albuquerque. Depending on the unit drawn, hunter can expect a 2-4 hour drive to camp. If flying, hunter must rent a car to get to camp.

      Description

      This hunt will take place during the months of January-March. This hunt takes place in winter months, but weather will still be warm because this hunt is located in southern New Mexico. Mornings and evenings may be cooler, so layering systems are recommended. Hiking conditions and terrain will depend will be rocky and dry. Field transportation will be provided by horses. You will get to see some cool country and save your legs! Full gear list to be provided when booked.
