Description

Up early and eat a great meal. Tucked into the rugged mountains of southern British Columbia, this mountain goat hunt blends raw wilderness with quiet comfort. Days begin and end in a beautiful backcountry cabin, a warm refuge after long climbs through steep, rocky terrain and windswept alpine basins. The hunt is demanding—scrambling across shale slides, glassing sheer cliffs, and earning every step—but the reward is unmatched: pristine landscapes, hard-won moments, and the chance to pursue mountain goats in one of their most dramatic strongholds. These hunts are conducted 1:1.

Description

Weather can be nasty in B.C. Prepare by packing multiple synthetic layering clothing. Keeping dry will be the biggest key to staying warm in the saddle. Layer clothing loosely to allow good movement. A waterproof layer on the outside will keep you dry while moving along in the saddle. Warm hat, boots, and gloves will round out the clothing packables. Provide yourself with water and snacks in your pack while out in the saddle. Extensive list will be provided by outfitter once in contact.
